This is a facilitated course where students engage in various exercises and interaction with the instructor. Students will be exposed to both the arhaic and contemporary tools and methods used by auto thieves, and be provided with the knowledge and methods needed to effectively identify stolen vehicles and defeat the surreptitious methods used by the more sophisticated auto thieves. Critical thinking is also promoted as students are challenged in various investigative exercises using the techniques taught, with the result being a successfully solved auto theft investigation.
Advanced Gang Investigations will give you the most current intelligence on prison gangs, disruptive groups, criminal street gangs and outlaw motorcycle gangs. Students will also learn effective methods to prepare for gang prosecution and case law updates.
This highly interactive and facilitated training program is designed to provide law enforcement officers a comprehensive understanding of investigative techniques in the area of Internet Crimes Against Children. Students will gain better insight into the mindset of a child predator and learn to set up undercover internet chat rooms using Yahoo Chat, MySpace and other social internet sites where predators often lurk to exploit and victimize children. After understanding how to speak the language and use proper acronyms, students will set up an undercover account, and learn to proficiently use software to secure digital evidence as they engage in a real life - real time online investigation with a child predator.
This is a comprehensive course that provides attendees with the history, current intelligence, trends and culture of Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs. The course focuses on current issues within the OMG community such as their criminal activities, organized crime involvement, recruiting/initiation practices, prospects, hybrid gangs, hang-arounds, sympathizers and rivalries with other OMG groups. Additionally, attendees will be provided with effective enforcement and investigative techniques, officer safety considerations, identification/validation procedures and the organizational structure of each gang. The course also explores the pitfalls and liability concerns of law enforcement agencies when initiating a case into these groups and how to effectively conduct contacts and investigations to overcome the common deterrent strategies by these organizations and their legal counsel.
This two day 16 hour course will introduce the conceptual perspective of contemporary paralinguistic communication. Paralinguistic is a form of communication through vocal expressions, words and /or non-verbal behavior that collaboratively discloses information about an individual. During the course, investigators will learn and enhance their understanding of the human physiological and psychological mechanism and how it interplays with the interview and interrogation process. The goal of this course will deliver applicable principles of paralinguistic communication that can be incorporated into your investigative trade craft. It is recommended that students attend an Interview and Interrogation course prior to attending this course, or have Interview and Interrogation experience. This course has been taught to the U.S. Military Special Operations Command and applied by U.S. SOF personnel while interviewing enemy combatants and suspected terrorists. This course will benefit military, law enforcement and civilian personnel tasked with conducting I & I, or pre-employment interviews. This two day course includes lectures, video presentations, group and practical lab exercises.
This eight hour course provides students with the most up to date intelligence regarding California Prison Gangs, Disruptive Groups and other Security Threat Groups tha operate within the California Correctional Facilities and County Jails. Students also learn how these major crime groups influence criminal activity both in and out of correctional facilities throughout the U.S. This course is updated regularly to provide the most relevant and accurate intelligence for law enfocement officials.
This three-day (24) hour training course will teach Law Enforcement Officers and Federal Agents how to identify, target, infiltrate, and prosecute mid-level narcotic organizations that often go undetected. Techniques will be presented to teach officers and agents how to purchase narcotics and firearms in an undercover capacity while conducting mid-level investigations. Students will learn ways to minimize the risks associated with long term undercover operations, and participate in case studies dealing with ethical decisions that lead to narcotic officers and agents being terminated for policy violations and arrested for criminal offenses. This course will benefit Local and State Law Enforcement Officers and Federal Agents engaged in long term undercover narcotic and firearm investigations.
The Tactical Driving (Module 1) course is designed to qualify the student with the needed driving skills to perform in assignements to high threat locations, batle zones, PSD operations, Anti-Terrorist Force Protection or law enforcement tactical units. This course teaches the basic principles and theories of vehicle dynamics, driver safety, tactical considerations and application. Students will be individually coached and monitored by our state certified instructors as they begin driving a vehicle to capabilities the average driver is not accustomed to. They will learn beginning to intermediate driving skills that will prepare them to safely engage or retreat from hostile areas utilizing dynamic interactive drills and real-world scenario based training.

The Advanced Tactical Driving (Module 2) course is a High Speed intensive driving course that takes driving to the next level and will challenge the skills of each student's driving capabilities. After completing the classroom lecture on high speed vehicle dynamics, students will apply the theoretical concepts into practical application. Monitored closely and individually coached by our state certified instructors, students will learn to handle the vehicle to its maximum potential. This course combines various various dynamic driving maneuvers that include offensive and defensive driving and vehicle assaults.
This 4-hour Workplace Violence Prevention (WVP) Course provides instructions that go beyond the online courses and is uniquely designed for government, health care and private sector employers. In addition to the WVP lecture, the curriculum also incoporates the "Active Shooter" scenario, self defense techniques and First Aid applications. With the continuum incidents of workplace violence occurring throughout the nation, employers have both the legal duty and moral obligation to provide a safe workplace for their employees. Under the General Duties Clause, Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) of 1970, employers are required to provide their employees with a place of employment that "is free from recognizable hazards that are causing or likely to cause death or serious harm to employees." This course provides essential workplace violence prevention and intervention protocols that integrates the early warning indicators' model (EWI) and satisfies employer's legal compliance. Professionals that attend this course will be better prepared to assess and prevent potentially violent situations.

To be effective in the battle against terror, today's analysts and officers must be specifically trained to deal with new problems involving often previously unkown and shadowy figures whose objectives differ signifcantly from the traditional criminals we have come to know and understand. They must come to a knowledge of who the terrorist are, the groups and organizations they represent, and the motivations that drive them to commit their acts of mass violence. Moreover, and of vital importance, our analysts and investigators must learn how to identify and interpret the often subtle yet critical clues that indicate the possiblity of an impending terrorist action, and be taught the analytical techniques to gather information and produce intelligence that truly enhances Homeland Security efforts.
The Trial Preparation/Expert Testimony is a comprehensive course designed to prepare law enforcement officers to testify as subject matter experts in a court of law. Testifying as an expert witness is much different and sometimes more difficult than testifying to factual accounts. Too often, officers enter the courtroom unprepared to offer expert testimony, resulting in diminshed credibility and embarrassment.
This is a one-week (36 hour) "hands-on" program that provides you with techniques you can use immediately to solve the real-world problems that daily confront the law enforcement community. Once trained, you will be able to save countless hours by focusing your investigations on the most likely type of person to have committed the immediate crimes, predict what the offender did before the offense, what he did during the crime, and what he will do before he abducts his next victim. Tactical Vehicle Stops is a three-day (24) hour course designed to provide officers with effective methods to reduce the chances of being injured or killed by a motorist ambush, or by oncoming traffic. This course will introduce students to new vehicle stop theories, concepts and practices that they can employ, or mix or match into their already developed vehicle stop methods.
